This is the layers bar where I can pick layers to edit; this is really useful for selecting each individual layer to edit separately. This feature helps save time and also enables me to hide the layer temporarily to see what different layouts would look like. Also I can rearrange orders of layers so certain layers can overlap others.

This is the tool I used to cut out the background of my main image. This is useful as it gets rid of any eye distractions so the audience look directly at the subject and look where we want them to look.
